1.0 out of 5 stars Route 66: America's First Main Street, June 21, 2003

This review is from: Route 66 : America's First Main Street (Paperback)
There are many excellent books out there remembering Route 66, unfortunetly this book is not one of them. The book is highly inaccurate and almost fictional. The author's opinions rather than archival information appear throughout the book. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

I did not like it much. Maybe I had great expectations of the book and it is pretty basic and mostly historical. I was looking more for a guide to the road.
