January, 1971? [listed as January, 1970 - the show is a look-back on the year 1970] -
Guest: William F. Buckley.
By far the funniest and most intelligent segment on the episode and on many others. Buckley's appearance is a question and answer format, revisited thee times, where the cast, out of character, except for Lily Tomlin as "Ernestine", addresses the Republican pundit. His responses appear to be ad-libs and most of them are hilarious! Seems his presence elevates the rest of the show, which is a notch above what one might expect.

September, 1970 -
Guest: Goldie Hawn.
A good episode featuring the returning Oscar winner. The best bits are by Lilly Tomlin, who does her thing as the Telephone Operator, a stripper emcee, and a variety of characters. Some strong commentary/criticism on the Nixon Administration; on the the new, Women's Liberation Movement.
"The Party" is now known as "The Cocktail Party" has some intermittently amusing quips, but as usual, the dancers, in revealing costumes, are the focal point. It's 1970 and long before MTV would redefine the boundaries of such expression, but this '70 show wasn't too far removed from the MTV approach, in that department.

Video/Audio Quality: Excellent.
