Heats up fast, strong cord, makes great steam (therefore you have to re-fill often, but it's worth it). Has withstood two major falls from wobbly ironing board onto ceramic tile.

We have had 2 of these models since 2013, and both of them have started leaking from the bottom plate. I have to assume their is a problem with this model.

This is a very comfortable iron to use. It's not too heavy and it's well balanced. It's easy to add the water to the reservoir. Also easy to remove the water after use. I have always found the dial type heat selector awkward to use but this one isn't too bad and most of the problem is with my hand anyway. The point is nice so it can go into small areas. I think the multitude of vent holes for steam makes for very even and abundant steam. The sprinkler button is easy to use and goes out in a nice compact but non-water logging area.

It is important to store it upright when filled with water. Also, important, and this is for any iron: don't overfill. I left it in the 'down' position and my iron padding sucked out a lot of water. The instructions say to self clean REGULARLY like every use. I don't know how important that is but keeping particles from accumulating in the reservoir makes me do this regularly. Not weekly, but regularly! I think you'll enjoy the feel of this iron in your hand. The electrical cord is ample so you don't have to be hugging the counter for an outlet. It's also pretty flexible so the cord is easy to store.

This is the second Rowenta I have owned. The other one was years old and the cord wore out. I just love this iron. It really does iron better than any other I have ever used. It heats quickly and because of all of the holes it is very effective. Well worth the extra cost over the normal brands.

I upgraded from basic black n decker steam Iron.
This one is much heavier and seems to help with the process. Its not too difficult to lift but just enough to get those wrinkles out.
Steam is impressive as my clothes come out much clean and crisp. Vertical steam was advertised but never produced any in standing position.
Auto off works great but I wish there was an off switch so that I don't have to pull the plug every time. The tapered tip helps a lot while ironing to reach those not so easy places. The Iron does leave some water marks when steam dial is fully turned.

Overall a very good iron and worth the money and upgrade I did.

I have exclusively used Rowenta irons for years, and found them to be of good quality and very reliable. This one is garbage. The "burst of steam" feature does not work properly. It steams well vertically (a function I never use), but it provides only a slight puff of steam when used horizontally. I will have to find a replacement, but frankly don't know what brand to try.
