4.0 out of 5 stars ALL IN ONE, August 21, 2004
This review is from: VideoWave 7 Professional (CD-ROM)
I have been doing video editing for about 6 years now. I have tryed shareware, freeware and retail video editors of all shapes and sizes. I am use to jumping between 3-4 diffrent editors to get all the effects, transitions and video color/brightness adjustments I need. Then I tryed ViedoWave 7 pro. This sucker has it all. I can adjust the color/brightness and contrast of each individual video clip. Remove sound from clips or add my owen naration and music. Make pans and zooms on still images. And this version has more FUN transitions to play with.

You will deffinitly need a Pentium 3 (i would recomend a Pentium 4) processor with at leatst 512 of RAM to run this puppy. It takes alot of power... but for a low priced video editor it HAS ALOT OF POWER.

not sure what the other guys issue was, but compaired to Pinnicle studio which crashed all the time and Ulead this product is great.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't Waste your Time or $$$, May 23, 2005
This review is from: VideoWave 7 Professional (CD-ROM)
I have used the old Version Videowave 5. I made several productions with it and burned them on to a DVD. There were some problems, but not many, and the DVD's worked. I upgraded to Videowave 7 thinking it would work just as well.

Well, Videowave 7 has many nice features, and in some ways is easer to use than Videowave 5. However, the program is loaded with bugs or bad code. It just does not work correctly. Support for this program is worthless.

So, save your time and $$ and buy something else.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great tool for home videos, March 27, 2005
This review is from: VideoWave 7 Professional (CD-ROM)
I don't get all this moaning and complaining about this product. I installed it with no problems and found it extremely easy to use. I have Windows XP on a Athlon 2Ghz. One would have to be completely computer-illiterate not to pick up this software and be able to use it with ease. It even comes with a DVD burning tool,DVD playing software, DVD label creator and a video capture tool. It has nice touches, like a lot of effects and transitions and it's even possible to do some color correction of brightness/contrast/RGB. It also has two modes: Timeline and Storyboard, and it's very easy to add/edit video and audio and setup chapter on the DVD builder tool. Don't get me wrong, it's not a professional tool (and for that alone I took 1 star off because the name of the product is misleading), but obviously aimed at the home video market, like birthdays and holiday videos. I feel it's the most complete product within this price range and I'm really happy with it.
