when i watched this dvd, i was really impressed with her honesty and the way she brought everything home, making everything real, in such a surreal way. this was some of the best and most interesting filmmaking i have seen in years! it was really fresh and fun in a dark and depraved way. i definitely think roxy saint is the answer to her own question, "where are the superstars now?" think marilyn manson meets courtney love, with a pinch of fiona apple and poe. the first half of the dvd, and particularly the song rebel, is so hard core!

Roxy Saint started changing the ways of the music industry, when she released her debut DVD `The Underground personality tapes'.
Like other artists such as Marilyn Manson
Roxy brings shock rock back into the 21st century with new `face' and style.
The first track on her DVD (Rebel) is packed with uplifting beats, with lyrics like `I am danger beware, I will be your worst nightmare' shows Roxy isn't going to be leaving us with just one album under her studded belt. The DVD also features a cover of Iggy Pop's `I Wanna Be Your Dog' which will make you chant the addictive chorus for hours. The whole DVD was shot using a hand held camera in such locations as ; dark gothic forests, Dirty Back alleys in LA, Steaming Hot tubs and rusty abandoned train tracks, these may not be high budget locations, but the DVD gets 5 stars in creative ideas, and raunchy antics leaving you with a craving of more and more Roxy.
As like many other new bands, breaking America is one of Roxys main goals, so at the moment Roxy is at home in LA preparing for the USA DVD release, tied down by press interviews and photo shoots causing chaos where ever she goes, like when she confronted Rick Rubin ( top producer in the industry) out side LA's Roxy theatre.
The question everyone is asking at the moment is `Who is Roxy Saint?' and she reply's `I am everything' which is very true, she has an ambitious and outrageous flair about her, guys want to be with her, girls want to be her. There's no stopping Roxy, with a rapidly growing fan base and rising DVD sales, she's turning down record deals every other day, this is one girl in very high demand and you can't afford to miss her. Already she's played two of the top music festivals in England, and headlined her own tour, she's bound to be back for more.
You won't forget this LA media `superstar' you will join her revolution if you like it or not!

This is a stunning debut DVD, a collection of songs with a video representing each one. Unlike many music DVD's the videos aren't just corporate rubbish, they were made by Roxy and friends and truly reflect the music. If you like your music sexy, sleazy and full of sharp riffs then this is the DVD for you! Tell your friends, burn your old albums, because the revolution is coming and Roxy is leading the charge...
