The set is a truly dark rich black, feathers do not come through at all, it is incredibly soft, and one of my favorite duvets I have ever had the pleasure of owning! The only draw back is that there are no ties inside the duvet, and it slips ever so often, but besides that it was a great product and i highly recommend it!
