Fluted gold rods separate the tiers, and the top tier has a looped handle for portability. The vintage pattern and gold detail give the cake stand the look of a cherished family heirloom. Feminine and graceful, the pattern is painted on a base of fine bone china, which gives this stand its exceptional translucency and luster. Called Old Country Roses, the pattern was created by Harold Holdcroft in 1962, and has since become one of the most popular china patterns in the world.
