When I typed in a search for Royal Albert Old Country Roses Soup Bowl, this is what popped up on Amazon. Unaware that Royal Albert also carries a Holiday soup bowl, I ordered this for a cousin, and boy, was I surprised when we got the bowls and realised that there were no roses on these bowls at all. A cursory glance won't even tell you that the pattern is with berries instead of roses, so similar are the two. A Royal deception indeed. I am very upset with Amazon that they bring this up as an option when I search for something else. Amazon's return department is so inept that they still haven't received the package I mailed them nearly two weeks ago, and they tell me that they will charge me for the return shipping because it was my "fault" that I ordered the wrong item. This has shaken my belief in internet shopping. When you can't inspect the merchandise in person, you have to rely on the integrity of the merchant selling you the stuff. And in this instance, I, who has been a faithful Amazon customer for years, am sorely disappointed in Amazon.
