Royal Albert Collection,

If ever something was created for the word "exquisite", this is it. I received my set yesterday and cannot stop admiring it. However, I am surprised this is advertised as "dishwasher safe". Putting fine china with gold trim in a dishwasher is never recommended by anyone else.

I've been collecting Royal Albert teacups and saucers for a number of years and just love them. I could not resist this 1900-1940 replica set of five, particularly for the two navy and whites: something I'd been looking for, for years. The soft minty polka dots is also fun and the florals are spring cheery. Vintage but new. Perfection!

The 100 Years of Royal Albert Teacups & Saucers Set 1900-1940 arrive in a beautiful presentation hatbox. The patterns are beautiful, the colors are vivid and the 22K gold rim adds a touch of class.
The cups have beautiful designs gracing inside as well as the outside of the cups. They compliment the 1950-1990 set beautifully! These are made in Indonesia, but this information is not printed on the cups or the saucers. There's a lone sticker on the presentation box that describes the country of origin. Each cup and saucer is inscribed on the bottom as follows: Bone china Royal Albert Pattern name

This set is truly gorgeous. The mint green cup with white polka dots has a pink rosebud printed in the very bottom of the cup. The gold parts are particularly beautiful. Each piece is quite sturdy while still being delicate. It is very interesting to compare the designs from each decade. A truly beautiful set!

I ordered this collection on Friday, December 2, 2011 and it arrived from England in immaculate condition on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Service and promptness aside, the teacups/saucers are absolutely gorgeous. My wife collects teacups, and this is one of the jewels of her collection. I would suggest this collection and this company with the highest recommendation.

I just opened my box of this set of teacups and saucers. They seem heavy and crude to me especially when compared to some fine, dark blue Russian teacups and saucers I already have. I am going to send these back. They are just not very nice for the money.
