Royal dreams: certainly a dream!
André Rieu and his orchestra keeps amazing! Royal dreams? One certainly experiences a royal dream listening and watching (!) this DVD. A lust for the ears, a lust for the eyes! It looks like Johann Strauss himself returned, but Rieu also plays and shows music from various composers. Look back into the beautiful romantic times and "Listen To The Music"!

Rieu DVD
Seemed to me the coloring in this DVD was not very good.Having nearly all of Andre Rieu DVD's,I felt the music on this DVD was not the best from his concerts.It is still great Rieu music.

'Royal Dreams' Isn't Rieu's Best Offering,

The selections are as terrific as usual, but the mix shifts unnecessarily. While tied together thematically, the highlights of Andre Rieu's 'Royal Albert Hall' concert with 'La Vie Est Belle' is not as cohesive or intimate as taking in an entire concert. One is better off seeing each of these DVD's separately. 'Greatest Hits,' on the other hand, is an exception to the rule, gathering the very best of fourteen major Rieu concerts and twenty selections with his vibrant and expressive Johann Strauss Orchestra.
