for the price that these shoes are sold at, this is the best purchase in footwear you can make. i've had them for about a year now and they've shown hardly any signs of wearing out (and i wear my shoes hard). these shoes are a as cool and practical as a pair of sneakers can be. although to give them the a more traditional look, strung really thin dress shoe laces threw the elastic across the top of the shoe. this was one of many options you could utilize with the plain space on this shoe.

I own these shoes in a different colorway that isn't available anymore. I purchased them because I thought they looked cool, thought the idea of the elastic panels was creative, and got them at a price I couldn't beat. I put them on for the first time, and couldn't believe how perfectly they fit, and how comfortable they were. I was in shock, and my girlfriend thought I was nuts. So she slid them on (I wear a 13, she wears a women's 7) and she couldn't believe how good they felt, even that many sizes too big. The same thing has happened when a couple of friends wanted to try them on as well, and at least one of them ended up buying a pair.

I own 40+ pairs of shoes, all different brands, and nothing comes close to the feel of wearing these. It's like wearing a pair of high top slippers that were custom made for your feet. I don't know how Royal Elastics came up with it, or how they pulled it off, but I hope they keep doing it.

Throughly satisfactory sports shoes. Can be worn all year long. Attractive, well made, easy on and off. Price was excellent discount.

These shoes are great! And a real value. I bought them for my father who has ankle problems and needs better support than the crappy shoes he always wore. He LOVES these shoes. Comfortable, not too heavy, and great support. Well made, too, You can just slip them on and they look cool! Great deal!!
