About the Author

Scott Bartlett has been writing fiction since he was fifteen, when he began his first book and got distracted halfway through Chapter Three. Since then, he's written three novels. The writing of his latest book was funded by the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council. Scott also maintains a blog about environmental issues.

This was my first time reading a book like this and I was pleasantly surprised! Immediately I was drawn in by the storyline and characters and couldn't put this book down! It was funny, charming, witty, and entertaining. I would recommend this book to anyone and am very happy to have it in my collection. Also, I had no problems ordering this book and it arrived in a timely manner.

This book was a lot of fun to read! When I first started reading it I couldn't figure out what it was reminding me of. I finally put my finger on it: Monty Python! The story has a fun plot with lots of twists and turns. Lots of good laughs and satire on our society and what the meaning of love is.
You will love this book for the great comedic satire and fantastic plot!

This book is an original theme, like nothing I've ever read before. I couldn't put it down- read it in two days, sometimes chuckling out loud as I turned the pages, anxious to see what would happen next. I loved the mixture of medieval with modern day- a truly original concept. Looking forward to more books from Mr. Scott Bartlett.

Scott Bartlett has been writing fiction since he was fifteen. Since then, he's written three novels and several short stories. His second novel, Royal Flush, won the H. R (Bill) Percy Prize, and his third novel, Taking Stock, received the Lawrence Jackson Writers' Award and the Percy Janes First Novel Award.

Scott also maintains a blog about environmental issues. In April, he won the Rio+20 Big Blog Off, and as a result traveled to Rio de Janeiro to blog at World Environment Day for the United Nations Environment Programme and TreeHugger.com.
