What I did not like about tthe pan, however, was this big (about 1" by 2") sticker on the back with impossible glue. I'm assuming they put this on there to cover the *second* sticker underneath that says "MADE IN INDIA" very clearly. Ironically, that sticker came up just fine, but the glue from the first one where it touched the pan directly was obnoxiously impossible to remove without scratching the pan all to hell. I dont mind scratches, as from just the cleaning, I see this pan is gonna scratch like crazy over time anyway, but it is sooo annoying to get that glue off!
Overall, this is a great, inexpensive, solid aluminum pizza pan. It reminds me alot of those pans you'd get at little mom-and-pop pizza places, or smaller chains like the Pizza Factory. It's light weight, but aluminum is. It seems like it'd be plenty strong enough pan for any pizza I could throw at it, and was easy to hand wash (this pan is not treated, so becareful about dishwashers -- the washing powders/gels sometimes discolor aluminum). I like that I wont have to worry about it rusting from minor surface scratches or the non-stick coming off in my food ever again!
I give it 3 stars as a product because it's nothing special, really, and I knocked it for the annoyance of sticker glue. But the price on sale would be a 4 easily :)
This pan is stamped 'American Metalcraft' on the bottom, which if I bought the pan that was listed 'by American Metalcraft' rather than 'by Kitchen Supply' on Amazon, it would have saved me a few bucks.
This pan is lighter than expected. Before I could use the pan, my toddler knocked it to the floor from about 3 feet, the pan landed on a rug. That was enough to deform the shape of the pan. By all means it is still functional, I was just a little disappointed that such a low impact would even be noticeable. I thought it would be sturdier/heavier duty than that.
The pan had 3 stickers on the bottom, one of them was labeled 'made in India'. I found heating the stickers with a hair dryer softened the adhesive and made it easier to peel them off. There was a bit of sticky residue that cleaned up easily with rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball.
After all, I haven't even used my pan yet, so I can't really speak to how it performs in that aspect.
If I could do it again, I would keep searching for a heavier duty pan. I am contemplating going with a Nordic Ware pizza pan instead of this one. Nordic Ware has pleased me with other baking sheets that I own and they are made in America. Amazon sells a Nordic Ware pan that is a few bucks less than the pan that I bought.

My favorite kind of pizza is pan crust so I thought this pizza pan had a nice rim so I could make a large pan crust pizza, but I was completely wrong. Read morePublished 16 months ago by Mike
This is a lightweight pizza pan that is quite sturdy and the pizza doesn't stick (we use Bobolini whole wheat crust) even without spraying oil on the pan. Read morePublished 17 months ago by Joseph Kline PhD, MD
The pan was received in poor condition. It has a big dent in it with scratches on the top and bottom of the pan. I am returning the pan and requesting a refund.Published 23 months ago by Shopper21
