Everything you can imagine is in this box for beginner artist! 3 types of paints, 2 types of pastels, brushs, and alot more!! Would Make A Great Xmas present!!!

My daughter just loves this art kit.When it arrived some of the paints came damaged but the seller sent out a whole new set of replacement paints asap.Very pleased.

This kit is a good starter kit, and has lots of parts and items that can make different artwork. The kit is a little heavy, but still portable. Not made for heavy use or being knocked about. When they packed it, they didn't consider shipping, I think, because it has no bubble-wrap or tight pack of tissue on the top layer, which due to the extra space it has, allows the items to get loose and move around during shipping. This can cause damage to some items, especially the oil pastels (which are really just crayons). Ours arrived with virtually every pastel crayon broken, and some parts turned to dust. The exterior of the box had some of the crayon dust smeared on it. Rather than hassle over returns, and since most of the kit was intact, we decided to live with it, but it was far from receiving a new thing. It looked used.

This really is a great starter kit for kids and while somewhat durable it is not something that will hold up for a long period of time. 3 months later many of the parts are showing wear or broken. There are a lot of components but one thing we experience was in shipping about 8 - 10 of the paints exploded and dried.

I would give this a better rating if not for the issue of the exploded paints and what seems like in other reviews a consistent theme that it has wear issues.

Nice set to introduce a budding artist to. I have repeatedly purchased for gifts. Individuals develop a preference for particular materials and the materials are of mid-quality,and that varies as to medium. The box and easel are convenient and can be stocked with your personal supply. I like organization, and this serves to keep things accessible and portable. Would recommend. I have had no problems with broken items, everything has been intact and I think that the issues with this product that others may have had may depend on the integrity of the seller.

I feel they should package the pastels better because several were broken. The easel is nice but I did have to put a sealant coat on it to preserve the wood from paint splatters. There is alot of selection of different mediums but I think most people will customize it.

Took 5 days to ship NOT 2 as stated. Upon arrival only two of the oil pastels were intact. Overall not bad, but not high quality either.

Was unaware that in order to recieve 150pc art box at a fair price, that all the pieces had to be extremely inferior.
