The pictures of this set made me think that at least the box was a nice wooden one with a felt interior. However, when it arrived I learned that the box, locks, and handle are flimsy... and the black interior is a very thin plastic insert that falls out if you're not careful. The brushes and paints are mediocre at best. I wasn't looking for something lavish with a 39.99 price tag, but I would have thought there'd be something of a "gift set" appeal... I guess I was wrong.

I bought this kit because it came with brushes and a good selection of acrylic paints. The brushes were great and a good quality, I had more options than I needed. I also liked the colors it came with. I just blended multiple colors together to get the exact color I wanted. I did have to buy an extra white paint from a store because I ran out. The tubes are small, but it's enough to get you started.

The hairs have never come out. I am impressed. The hairs are very good quality. The handles are plastic, but they are worth their money.
I am impressed and this is recommended to those who are also interested in great quality.

I ordered this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and all I can say is THANK YOU! He was so surprised and absolutely loved it. It arrived in a timely manner and truly made this a wonderful holiday.

I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this set. I'm very pleased with the quality of the brushes, and the paints work well. Note, I'm a beginner in painting and therefore have no experience to rely on as to the quality a more experienced person might know to look for. I think it's a great buy for the money. The case is very pretty (though I'll probably end up using it for something else down the road: I return the used brushes to my brush box and paints to a paint box).
