An Exercise in Frustration!, February 27, 2010
I purchased this kit after completing a couple of Dimensions paint by number kits. It is a disaster! The numbers on the canvas are printed so darkly that they show through most of the colors (except black) even after you repaint layer after layer of color in an attempt to blot them out. I mixed the colors according to the formulas and they did not come out right, no matter how much fussing I did with them, they were too dark, too bright, or just plain wrong.
The paint itself did not "flow" well, unless one added quite a bit of water, which diluted the color. Otherwise it either clumped or did not wish to adhere well to the canvas. It was a tremendous waste of time, money, and confidence. In the future I will go back to Dimensions projects.
