My hearing is getting bad and to avoid turning the volume up substantially on my TV set, I wanted to place speakers closer to our sitting stations. Plus, the speakers on the TV leave a lot to be desired anyway.

Initially I was very pleased for ease of hook up, sound etc. However, for the speakers to work as desired, the control volume needed to be turned up to max. volume. In this range the speakers had a distinct background sound (unsure how to describe). I guess this is typical of low wattage speakers when running at max. volume.

They in fact improved the sound volume but the background sound/feedback was more than what we expected. Its not like there not tolerable, to others, this may-not be an issue.

The price is reasonable for the speakers, their size leaves a small footprint and are nice looking for the price. All the necessary accessories/hardware is include to connect (except batteries), each speaker has its own power cord included. I used a separate remote control to power off the speakers rather than to turn off each speaker on/off switch, which are small and difficult to see (on the speaker side).

I didn't want to go the surround-sound route, however I may do so. Debating at this time, if I should return the merchandise.

I had purchased a pair of AR wireless speakers and after about a year of inconsistent sound quality and constant static, I finally threw them out. I really wanted a wireless speakers that worked, so I took a gamble on these. They are great. While the distance that they can be away from the transmitter isn't quite as advertised before you get static, it is nothing compared to the AR speakers. I love Pandora and have a Bose companion 3 in our family room. This system allows me to listen in the kitchen as well by adding on to the computer with the Bose system.

I wanted to use these speakers in my office to play music and white noise that masks traffic sounds on the adjoining busy road. So I bought two pairs of speakers and positioned one speaker on each side of both windows. They work great. Very simple to set up. Good sound quality, provided nothing causes RF interference. I used one transmitter for both sets of speakers. There is an AC line for each speaker and the transmitter. But other than that, there are no cords or wires. Altogether a good experience.

at the beginning i was concern how would this speakers sound and all that, but then i reserch the company Royal, and find out that they where a 100 year old company with an excellent customer suport. I got my speakers, and they are great, i set up a home theater system in my living room, without having to run the wires actross, it was great.

I really enjoy this speakers, and recomend them.

These speakers are great, the installation was so fast, no wires to run through and the sound is perfect!!!

The speakers crackle and have trouble linking to the base even though the are "line of sight" and less than 20 feet away. The connection is lost frequently with a very loud POPand crackle. I would not recommend them to anyone. They cost almost $70 and they are worth about $7 they work about as well as a poorly made child's toy.

I wanted some wireless speakers to get better coverage in the dining room without turning up my stereo volume. I received these for Christmas, and they work for my purpose. That said, the sound quality is modest, and if you listen carefully there is a little hiss. I wouldn't use these as main speakers or for quiet listening. But to extend your listening to places where you don't spend a lot of time, don't want to run wires, or where sound quality is not paramount, these speakers are an easy and inexpensive solution.

This is a $69.00 piece of junk. Nothing but static, snap, crackle and pop from the speakers which was about the only thing you can hear. Speakers were placed 20' away from the receiver in a straight line of sight. Moved the speakers and the transmitter up down and around with no good result. Volume control is there on both speakers. Waste of time. Volume on high is very low which may be a good thing considering most all your hearing is static.

Went back in the box for return the same day. Am awaiting word from Amazon on how much if any refund I'll receive. Return instructions, in part, are return in unopened condition. How in the world do you try these things without opening the package, removing the product and trying it? As always, impossible to pack in original form, but this time I got it real close.

Have always had excellent luck with quality of purchases from Amazon so am anxious to see how this return business works out. If the decision is that since the package was opened and the product removed thus no refund I will be where I started as I had decided I would eat my $69.00 and throw this junk away. Would not attempt to pawn this off on someone else on ebay, etc. Will update this review when I find out.

perfect product, delivers the goods! I hooked receiver up to my XM radio inside my office building next to a window, and the receiver connects throughout the building, at my desk, or even in the lunch room. Super-satisfied with this product, and it took me a long time to find this size speaker at this great price.

This is an excellent speaker system, however I did expect them to be thinner and the transmitter to be a bit smaller. Also, there is a bit of a learning curve when setting up the speakers. You have to look through the manual to fully understand that if you get distortion you can push the channel button and switch to another channel. Once that is done the tone quality is excellent. The speakers seem to work better when electric powered and not on battery, but once the link is established they perform very well with either power sytem. The portability of the speakers is exceptional. The speaker distance from transmitter is also exceptional. The only thing that seems to give the speakers problems is the older 900 Mhz cordless telephones and the heavy plumbing in a bathroom. IF people have been having problems with reception, I suggest forcing the speakers to another channel and that should clear up the problem. I am planning ot order another set because this is an excellent speaker system and Ritz Camera did a good job in getting the system to me in a timely manner. For the price this is an excellent wireless speaker set.
