About the Author
Jane Struthers is a full-time writer who has always been fascinated by history and historical buildings. She is the author of many non-fiction books, including Britain from the Air, Royal Britain from the Air and Britain's Coastlines from the Air (all published by Ebury Press). She has also written Understanding Astrology (Connections) and various other books on similar subjects published by Collins & Brown and Kyle Cathie. Jane lives in East Sussex. Chris Coe is a highly experienced travel photographer who has shot widely around the UK. He lives in Maidenhead, Berkshire. Paul Riddle specializes in portraying architectural form and interior space.

PALACES OF BRITAIN,

Britain was not as blessed as France or Germany when it came to Palaces. Britain has no Versailles or Potsdam, but Hampton Court is pretty and the exterior of Windsor Castle is the very definition of the word, Castle. The interior of Windsor and Buckingham Palace are spectacular, the Georgian style is breathtakingly beautiful. As for this book, it has nice images, though the text is not exactly scholarly, it does give you a brief overview. Overall, a nice book, but don't expect anything too indepth.
