Royal Palaces of Britain
Book was in excellent condition. Beautiful pictures. I only wish it had more pictures of the inside.

PALACES OF BRITAIN
Britain was not as blessed as France or Germany when it came to Palaces. Britain has no Versailles or Potsdam, but Hampton Court is pretty and the exterior of Windsor Castle is the very definition of the word, Castle. The interior of Windsor and Buckingham Palace are spectacular, the Georgian style is breathtakingly beautiful. As for this book, it has nice images,...

Britain was not as blessed as France or Germany when it came to Palaces. Britain has no Versailles or Potsdam, but Hampton Court is pretty and the exterior of Windsor Castle is the very definition of the word, Castle. The interior of Windsor and Buckingham Palace are spectacular, the Georgian style is breathtakingly beautiful. As for this book, it has nice images, though the text is not exactly scholarly, it does give you a brief overview. Overall, a nice book, but don't expect anything too indepth.
