I would not recommend running RP ICE with Aluminum engine or radiators with DISTILLED WATER.

This ONLY applies to DISTILLED WATER with out anti-freeze. RP ICE with distilled water is corrosive and will eat away at your aluminum engine parts.

I ran RP ICE with distilled water combo for max cooling for my track car. What happened was my heater core was corroded and started leaking from corrosion caused by this product.

Also what you will notice is if you get this product on aluminum parts, it will stain the metal white and cannot be wiped off. It also leaves a grey coating inside your radiator and piping.

I would recommend using Redline Water Wetter as an alternative. I get the same results with water wetter and it CAN be used with 100% distilled water with OUT anti freeze.

I am a BIG fan of RP products and PR ICE is the only product from them that i have had problems with.

If you run RP ICE with distilled and ANTI FREEZE, you will be ok. I would still recommend RL Water Wetter

I have a Cadillac CTS-V and this helped lower the temp an avg of 10deg in hot and cold.

This product I saw on the speed network and decided to try it on my K1500.
It works and lowered the radiator coolant temperature as advertised.
Bought it for my other two vehicles.

Must Buy. If your using it for a motorcycle or an ATV, I recommend adding it to Engine Ice.

I bought this ice coolant because of other reviews and comments about them. A few people that i know have used this product and it has actually did cool their engines down a bit. I didnt believe them much until i tried it. Royal Purple Ice coolent does WORK!! just few degrees lower helps a lot in engine performance every little bit helps!

The product is awesome use it in my Mazda RX-8, Nissan Titan and Ford Mustang.

I used this product after using royal purple oil and let me tell you my car runs smoother then it ever did. It reduced engine temp by about 15 degrees. The cooler an engine runs the more power and better fuel economy you get. The real advantage of this product is it will prolong the life of your car.

After i added this product to my 1997 Chevy Camaro(109,000miles) which uses GM DEX COOL Anti freeze, I definitly noticed my radiator gauge reading well below the normal marker. If i were to estimate the differnce, I would say about 10 to 20 degrees cooler than normal. For example, when i drive in bad traffic on the freeway(stop and go traffic), my gauge would reach the midline(210 degrees), now after using Purple Ice, the gauge dosen't make it to half way marker. Another thing that makes me satisfied with this product is that it lubricates the water pump seals. Water pumps in the past have always ended up having leaks from the seals which ended up being really costly for me.
Being so satisfied with this product, i now plan to drain and replace my manual transmission fluid with Synchromax. I also have a freshly re-built engine which i plan to switch over to full synthetic royal purple 10w-30 oil after i reach 3000 miles.

All performance enthusiasts and racers agree: Royal Purple puts out some of the best vehicle fluids you can get anywhere. Only Red Line products come close but I use royal Purple motor oil as well and can really tell the difference. If it is Royal Purple, it is one of the best ever.

My truck had been overheating and this lengthened the time it took for it to overheat. After I saw it's effectiveness I changed my transmission oil and motor oil over to Royal Purple, and saw more improvements. Once the actual overheating problem was fixed the engine now runs colder than it ever has!
