Who knew from Royal Purple. . .
The name caught my attention and now know it is one of the top oils. Finding a synthetic 30 weight for the brand new 21 HP Brigs was # 1 priority and the Purple meets the test, and it really is The Color of Purple. . .

I used this for my year old lawn mower. I was really surprised to be able to hear the mulching blade whirring because the lawnmower engine noise was so suppressed. Now that was surprising to me. I am not saying the lawnmower engine was extremely quiet. After all, the mufflers on lawn mowers aren't so great. I am talking about the engine noise, not the exhaust. But I definitely noticed a new sound I hadn't noticed previously. And that was the sound of the mower blade whirring. So now I am definitely planning purchase more of this synthetic oil. It's not cheap, but if it makes this much difference with a lawn mower, what would it do in a car? And a car is worth a lot more than a lawn mower.

Very impressed, used the Royal Purple in my vehicles. It delivered the fuel savings and horse power as promised. Big yes on the horse power! So decided to add it to my mowers, etc. Mowers use less gas and are quieter.

I put this motor oil in my High performance engine, the 6 speed and rear-end and noticed a difference in power and low end torque running around 400hp capped up.. It's also really hard to grab things when it on your hands. I use it all my cars. I also put in my engine and 5 speed in my Civic and the car rolls farther and does 200 RPM less for the same speed as regular oil. One thing you must do is not put it in a new engine or car. The rings have to seat first before using it. Recommend putting 7000 to 10000 miles on the car first.
