More About the Author

Carolyn Keene and Franklin W. Dixon are the pseudonyms under which many ghostwriters penned the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys series, respectively. Both series were created by Edward Stratemeyer, founder of the Stratemeyer Syndicate book packaging firm, in the late 1920s and early 1930s.

Stratemeyer's daughter, Harriet, and syndicate writer Mildred Wirt Benson were the two people primarily responsible for bringing the iconic character of Nancy Drew to life in the minds and hearts of millions of readers around the world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Riveting, Action-Packed, Full of Suspense!!!!, June 27, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Royal Revenge (Nancy Drew & Hardy Boys Super Mysteries #34) (Mass Market Paperback)
This Super Mystery is just full of suspense and action-packed scenes that keeps you hanging on to every word. Nancy Drew and her loyal companions,Bess and George, combined with the help from the Hardy's give this book lots of humorous moments as well as character. The KGB asassin, the Haiduk, is creepy in the ending when he is loaded with an AK-74 machine gun and ordered to shoot the supposed heir to the Panaslavan throne as well as Nancy and her friends. The final ending scene will keep you glued to the page and to find out the answer to the mystery. This book is well-written and deserves,in my opinion, five stars and two thumbs up!!!!!! *****

5.0 out of 5 stars I Loved this Book, February 25, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Royal Revenge (Nancy Drew & Hardy Boys Super Mysteries #34) (Mass Market Paperback)
I have almost all of this series and I love all of them. But I have to say this was my favorite one of them all. My favorite part was when the Hardy's were chasing someone across the roofs and then when they caught him he wasn't the right guy. I never would have guessed who the assasen was, but I,m not going to tell you.
