HighSchool in the late 50's and I had to do a book report on this. Gimme a break eh~! Royal Road to Romance??!! The more that I got into this book, the more I was fascinated by his mindset and sense of adventure (Romance). 65 Countries later, I have a similar mindset and bring his spirit with me to the far reaches of the 3rd world. It took a few years to appreciated how much he changed my thinking and now have all his books and one autographed. His sense of humour and adventure will never leave me, I hope~! He was probably the first known travel adventure writer.
