You know when you get new pillows and they don't "fit" right and it takes a week or two before you get them to squish just right ?
From the moment I put my head down on these feather/down pillows I was home. I had been nursing a feather/down pillow from my childhood (and I am 50+!!) because it was so comfy. I bought other pillows, but still used the old feather/down one on top, next to me.

The old feather/down pillow has now gone to its reward and I am sleeping luxuriously with FOUR of these wonderful pillows. I didn't need four, but they look beautiful, plump, and succulent on my bed (I do go on !)

You will not be disappointed....and there is NO SMELL, the Royal Velvet cover feels like a fine fabric, and they even come in their own individual plastic zipper tote..complete with handle !!

For ===$18.99=== you'll be hard pressed to find a better queen-sized down pillow out there. There are plenty of cheap down pillows at linen/bed/bath stores, but they -feel- cheap. These pillows are an exception. Also, the product arrived within 48 hours of my purchase, which was a nice bonus.

*NOTE* The fill and spacing of the down is definitely conducive to people who don't want their heads elevated much when they sleep. Keep that in mind when shopping for your pillows. This pillow is definitely best for stomach sleepers, providing some support but mostly just cushioning.

I bought a pair of these pillows to use at home as replacements for my knock-off tempurpedics, which had proven to be too firm for me. As a stomach /side sleeper, I really needed something that cushions my head, but leaves me with a low profile so I don't wake up with a stiff neck. These pillows do just that.

My only complaint is that the slip cover/exterior fabric is really stiff, and can feel uncomfortable against your face. I recommend washing the pillow slip cover and tossing the pillows themselves into the dryer to abate that problem.

but yet... I absolutely HATE these pillows! These are the absolute WORST pillows I have ever owned, and that is saying a lot because I have bought MANY pillows. Based on the positive reviews here, I went ahead and figured I'll get 4 of 'em to make good use of the 4 for 3 promo... What a mistake!

After letting them air out to reach it's full fluff-tential, I laid on them, and at first, it did feel comfy...but after about oh say 30 min, it quickly flattened to one hard, thin, unsupportive dead weight on my bed! I would fluff it up again, and the same thing would happen.

I figured it needed more "filling." So since I hated them anyways, I decided to experiment. I ripped open one pillow (No kidding when they say 90% feather.... the down is very VERY far and in between...and the feather is a gross brown too!) and used it to further stuff the other three....It didn't help.... the thing just became heavier and harder, not fluffier or more supportive.

Now I have 3 useless pillows.... I dont even bother keeping them on my bed anymore cause they are so heavy anyways (King size.) and they are now in my storage room....

*sigh* what a waste of money.. I think this is by far THE worst purchase I have EVER made on amazon... and trust me... I have amazon prime and amazon visa... and make LOTS of purchases on here...

I guess they'll just sit in my storage room until it's time to haul things to donate.... maybe someone else will get some thing out of it.... I sure didnt but a bad cramp in my neck.

These goose down pillows are very comfortable to sleep on. They aren't as fluffy as I had expected them to be, but surprisingly provide a good night of rest.

If you like your pillows very firm and filled to capacity, then this is not the pillow for you.

If you like a soft thinner pillow then I think that you will enjoy this pillow.

Read the good reviews and bought two of these pillows. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. The pillows are completely flat, no fluffiness to them whatsoever. They are uncomfortable to sleep on, might as well be sleeping without a pillow. I stacked the 2 together and even then they were ridiculously thin.

I bought this pillow due to the fact my husband kept sealing my other feather pillow. Although, I love my feather pillow, its not a full as my other one I gave to my husband. I do like this pillow and just wish is was a tad fuller.

These pillows give your neck excellent support as long as you scrunch them into the position you need for this.

If you lie on them flat...they will end up flat. But if you fluff them up under the base of your neck, they stay that way all night. I didn't like them at first, before I learned how to properly use a feather pillow. Lol.

These are perfect puffy pillows that are very flexible to individual needs.;)

The price seems to be somewhat fair for what seems to be a a quality feather pillow. Prices can run very high for the more corpulently stuffed ones.

I washed the outside cover and put a CleanRest (also available from Amazon) allergen barrier pillow encasement cover on it, and I never noticed any lingering odor that is sometimes common to feather pillows.

At 14.99 (queen) I think I got a great deal and bought 4 of them. They are very comfortable. Its a nice line and has a pretty presentation with the hard
plastic bag covering. We have had down pillow in the past and I didn't feel like dropping a few hundred bucks to replace our old ones~ happy with my decision to try these out. Would recommend.

High quality down pillows at a bargain price. I am new to the Royal Velvet line of products and I will definitely purchase more from Royal Velvet for the rest of my home. They come in really cool plastic bags with fancy gold tassel handles. Very nice, very nice.

I loved these pillows when I first received them, but as time passes, they are loosing feathers left and right.
