Rest your head on our coordinating white down pillow with a double cover for maximum protection. Silk and Cotton 1000 thread count outer cover and 233 thread count cotton inner cover. Pillows are machine washable, 15 year limited warranty. Down and feather-filled products are packed tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove them from their packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours to recover their full loft. In addition, being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes causes the scent of these natural products to concentrate to a disagreeable level. A few hours of airing usually removes the odor. Purchasing this pillow may be the nicest thing I've ever done for myself. Mine is a queen size. Ordering an expensive pillow online seemed like quite a risk to me but I'm here to order another one!
I've been a stomach sleeper for all my life (not the healthiest thing to do). Now I know why. With all the other pillows I've ever owned I would actually sleep on my arms on top of the pillow or with them underneath it. That was my way of adjusting things to make them just right. Most all pillows seemed to just go flat after awhile or else if they were heavy enough not to go flat I would think them too thick and hard on my neck. Not anymore! The Silver Elegance pillow is just right. I feel like papa bear! Not that it just happens to be the correct thickness, it's much more than that. Other down pillows were not as thick and, hence, the flat problem again. Or feather pillows with the pokey little bribes were too heavy. Fluff as you may I could not get them right. Here's where the Silver Elegance is different. It has plenty of fill to keep it from going flat, in fact it looks like a giant marshmallow compared to my old ones if I don't pat it down. But it's not just full, it's "creamy"! That's the only way I know to describe it. Just looking at it makes me want to run over and lay my head on it just long enough to take a quick "cloud ride" as my head finds its perfect resting spot! This thing is adjustable! If you don't have it just perfect a little pump on either end or a couple of head bobs will fix it and it stays right there and your set to ride into la la land. I can't as easily sleep on my arms anymore and that has took just a tad bit of adjusting to but the rewards are great. For the first time in my life I can sleep any way I choose, on my back, side or stomach. And I awake feeling much better, especially when I sleep on my back. This pillow comes in a 1000 thread count protective cover which is very soft and silky, zippered on the end, and super comfy if you want to sleep on it. I have mine covered with a lesser case but I'm looking for comparable cases so as to save the original. Mine came in a zippered plastic tote bag and as such had a very slight scent when I opened it which I feared would get worse with my face in it but to my surprise it didn't get worse at all. For multi pillow sleepers this would be too much but with a couple nights sleep on it they may change their habits. Now to save up for the comforter. I don't want to sleep "under" it. I want to sleep "on" it! I doubt man will ever come up with anything truly comparable to the softness of natural down. Creamy soft says it all! I don't want anyone to inherent this pillow. I'll take it with me, thank you! They'll all just think I brought my own cloud! I love it and can't say enough!

Nice pillow (I'll let the other reviews speak to that), but it's not 100% down as the item description would lead you to believe. The tag attached to the pillow (the one inside the outer cover that only the consumer is allowed to remove) says "(minimum 75% down)." The fact that it's not 100% down may be the reason it's as firm as it is. If you're looking for a firm, "mostly down" pillow, you should give this a try.

We have two of these in the queen size that I bought from Amazon about two years ago and a total of about 10 down pillows in different sizes and fill weights, the ones I didn't like as well end up in guest rooms :).
If you like to sleep with only one pillow and like a moderately firm pillow, it's superb. The double cover is very nice and prevents down leakage. The pillows have held up beautifully. They still appear to be brand new, despite occasionally finding our mini-pin lounging on them (ick). That's when it's nice to be able to pull the second cover off and toss it in the washer. Of course you can buy pillow covers, but they don't fit the pillow as snugly as the ones that are made for them. This cover is nice and tight, no bagging. My husband uses this pillow. I personally like to pile 3 soft pillows on top of each other, so I prefer a much lower weight pillow. It's also easier to get a low-loft pillow into your luggage :) They do smell pretty bad when they arrive, the description is correct, just let them air out for a day or so.
