Unattractive from below; ho-hum styling overall,

The pendant light is OK when you look at it from above or the side, as you would when coming down stairs, for example. But we put this in our foyer so you also notice what the light looks like from below--and it is not attractive. We quickly discovered that a regular size light bulb hanging in this huge pendant shade (16 inch diameter--bigger than you imagine) looks ridiculous. We bought a much larger decorative round bulb which has a better scale in connection with the large shade, but it has a somewhat dated look that way. Overall, the pendant shade and chain are just kind of ho-hum. Nothing striking here. If I had seen this before buying I would not have purchased it.

My husband installed this light the day it arrived. Easy installation! This is a great replacement for the ugly light that was in our dining nook when we bought this house. With a 60 watt bulb, it provides plenty of light.

We purchased a home which had no central lights in the rooms and wanted hanging lamps that looked good. These lamps look great and were a snap to hang.
