Book Description

October 4, 2008
An amazing first-hand journey to Kashmir-a look into the evidence that Jesus survived crucifixion-proof that he lived and died in Kashmir and is buried in the famous tomb known as Roza Bal. Meet the family who claim that Yuzu Asaph, Jesus, is their ancestral grandfather. Learn about the efforts to create a DNA profile of Jesus' family. From John the Apostle to Saint Thomas, many were with Jesus years after the crucifixion who have historically verified his journey. Records in Kashmir mention his wife named Marjan and their son, Ely-Kim-the same son that Saul met on the road to Damascus known as Ely-mar, 'a man with a great mind'. The most startling revelation of all? Jesus lived to fullfill the last words on the titulus, he lived to become 'King of the Jews' in India. This is a troubling and factual investigation, but necessary for a complete study of the life of Jesus after crucifixion, a life that leads us directly to his tomb and his Grail children hidden away in Paradise on Earth, Kashmir. Behind this book have gone years of danger, personal hardships, and threats from fundamentalists to bring you the research of two world experts, best known for their intimate knowledge of the tomb of Jesus. Share their journey of discovery into his tomb. Enter the world of Roza Bal.

Razabal - The Tomb Of Jesus: By prof. Fida M. Hassnain and Suzanne Olsson

Author of ATIKA SADEEQA'S SHAKESPEARE: AT THE AGE OF TWELVE PRESERVING THE PRESERVED

This book has been collaborated with Suzanne Olson and it is a follow-up to their previous work, The Fifth Gospel and A Search for the Historical Jesus, and Jesus Last King Of Kashmir and Jesus in Kashmir, The Lost Tomb. Both authors have set out to establish that Jesus survived crucifixion and died years later of old age in Kashmir. With the methodical approach to laying out the evidence, they have accomplished what they set out to prove.

This book has eight chapters, covering The Crucifixion, Diaspora Jews, Thomas, Jesus and Marjan, Ministry in Kashmir, Roza Bal, Bloodline, and appendix-DNA. These authors have confirmed Jesus' survival of the crucifixion his triumphant over Death in the light of Hebrew predictions. Than they followed the trail of Jesus' journey from Damascus to Kashmir, a journey they call the Diaspora of Jews led by Jesus. It was during the last phase of this long journey that Mother Mary died, and they have photographed her grave. The real story of Jesus Christ's life and his lineage in the East have been uncovered through evidence written in ancient scripts on stone pillars in Kashmir.

These authors' words, thoughts, pictures and references and the discovery of Rod of Jesus and the removal from the Roza Bal Tomb is a very valuable information. The final chapters deal with tomb itself, locally known as Rozabal (revered tomb) and these authors have reviewed the Kashmirian ministry, history and the family tree of Jesus and Marjan, his marriage with Marjan and their first born Eli Kim.
Anyone tracing a bloodline of Jesus now has solid proof where to begin their search. Now one has ever come close as these two researchers providing evidence for the actual name of the son of Jesus. This is but one sample of a huge treasure trove of information in this well referenced book.

In the final section Suzanne Olsson presented the DNA tests, done by National Geographic's Genome Project on her, and amazing similarities with Saint Luke and others. She has explained what can be expected both ancient and new from such DNA tests, what they can and cannot prove and whether or not to expect Roza Bal will yield the DNA of God. The prospects they outline are very exciting.

Prof. Fida M. Hassnain is a leading researcher on Jesus for the last forty years, and Hassnain and Olsson's books are priceless treasures into this little understood topic. Reader will find this book will meet the challenges of theories and sources, where as researchers who have challenged Holger Kersten (1986) on his theories and sources remain unclear.

Their research on the subject is a passion and pleasure for them and has motivated them in spite of advanced years and failing health. Thousands of sources have been researched, and travel to 22 countries all at the authors' own expenses is a true testament to their attention to detail and steadfast determination to arrive at the truth, whatever that may prove to be.

The ancient picture (painting) of an elderly statesman-Jesus kept in the Vatican (Encyclopedia of Britannica 1947) seems real in their book.

The survival of the Crucifixion has been under speculation quietly in the West for centuries. A German scholar Friedrich Schliemacher, (1768-1835) along with other researchers believed that Jesus did not died on Cross. The evidence is slowly mounting.

Although authors have quoted Hazrat Mirza Gulam Ahmad, (the founder of Ahmadyya Movement In Islam, who is the author of Jesus In India, published in 1908 and Hassnain has acknowledged that this book has opened new vistas of research about the real life of Jesus Christ, these authors have not taken any religious stance for or against one side or another. They have quoted many varied religious sources, especially the bible and some references to relevant passages in the Quran.

In 1975, as an archeologist, Fida Hassnain found a stone slab in the inner sarcophagus of Raozabal which has the foot-prints with wound marks and the carver's wounds markings matched with the blood marks on Shroud of Turin, and the known quotes about positioning of the feet in a real crucifixion. This provides with compelling evidence that foot carvings are accurate depiction of some one who had feet nailed to a cross in a specific pattern.

Sahibzada Basharat Saleem comes in near the end of the book as a man who claims his family is the direct descendent of Yuzu Asaf, or Jesus. The Stern magazine published in Germany in 1970, published an interviews of Hassnain and Sahibzada Basharat Saleem. This interview shed light on the conflict existed between two men as to how the research should continue. This was before DNA was available for their research. Basharat Saleem did not cooperate, where as Basharat Saleem's father, Sahibzia Gulam Mohiuddin always showed the legal documents pertaining to the legal standing of the property of the Shrine of Rozabal, as a custodian and chief caretaker, recognized by the court since 1766.

Recently, the Artifacts, Excavations, and Faith are being targeted by Milton G. Moreland ( Director of a program in Archaeology in US and an excavator in Galilee since 1993) & Jonathan L. Reed (Ph. D) a professor of Religion and The Director of the Sepphoris Acropolis Excavation).
In their opinion, Archaeology is not arbiter of faith. They are introducing cutting -edge fieldwork that has transformed their understanding of the historical Jesus and the origins of Christianity. (Jesus seminar, Solvang, California, November 7-8, 2008). This book will enlighten their insight, understanding and avail them of the evidence that is now under threat of loss from fundamentalism or just plain ignorance of the historical value of many relics associated with the tomb.

This book leaves me feeling excited at the possibilities for DNA tests and recovery of the artifacts that I want to know more about. The authors have done rigorous and thorough examination of their topic, and handled Jesus and all religious beliefs about him with love and respect. I urge every one to read this book just for the deep fundamental questions it will raise in all hearts and minds, of every faith (or no faith at all).

5.0 out of 5 stars Intensely researched ..., February 20, 2010

This review is from: Roza Bal The Tomb of Jesus (Paperback)
Fida Hassnain and Suzanne Olsson have put at lot of energy into investigating and corrobrating all their facts. I have enjoyed their other books on this subject.

I just wonder that, maybe Jesus was buried with his staff because he had no immediate descendants?

Maybe there were no descendants because after studying with the Buddhists, he too
became a renunciate of "worldly desires"....the source of "suffering"...the four
noble truths.

Maybe he married Marjan, to take care of him like the king suggested, for reasons of "propriety"...having a woman help tend his wounds would have been an intimate act.

Maybe Sahibzada Basharat Saleem did not produce the records of his family lineage because he was not a "direct" descendant of Jesus. Perhaps he was related through a cousin. Perhaps his claims were for future financial reasons. The rest of his family didn't seem to be aware of their royal lineage.

God is a spiritual concept, DNA is mundane. It is doubtful that there is a "DNA of GOD".

As a disciple of Buddhism, Jesus would have wanted us all to find PEACE in the present. Attachment to the "past" and his "remains" appear to be a source of "danger" as well as "suffering".

Thank you Suzanne and Fida for bringing this history of Jesus and Kashmir to "light". Let's hope the tomb remains intact for other's to appreciate.

Once again Professor/Dr. Fida Hassnain has captured the essence of the life and times of Jesus, in his profound and thorough research, revealing long-kept secrets of Jesus life, death and time spent in between, that has been hidden from history by the powers-that-be, at least to the Western world. Prof. Hassnain has done the background work so that authors like Dan Brown have an opportunity to take this information a step further and reveal these long-kept and overdue revelations to the world via movies and novels. Unlike Dan Brown, Prof. Hassnain does not hide behind a novel, but instead reports his findings straight forwardly, reading from the original ancient texts as he does so expertly. His background as curator of antiquities of the museums of the Middle East, has served him well, and has provided the world with information that is crucial to open our minds to possibilities that could change the world's views and modern religious belief.

If you think Dan Browns books are great ~ then you haven't seen more than the "tip of the iceberg" until you've read Prof. Fida Hassnain's books, including "Roza Bal The Tomb of Jesus" ~ It is a true eye opener ~ A classic!
