We recently had a catastrophic event at our home. I bought this book to make sure that both the insurance company and the contractor were pricing things fairly. This book is very accurate and was more than helpful. If I had not bought it I would have been footing a large portion of the bill for the damages at in my home. Well worth the money!

My boyfriend is trying to start his own Handyman business since being laid off from a big construction company a few years ago. This book was exactly what he needed in order to give a properly priced quote. This book is much less expensive to purchase through Amazon than anywhere else we looked. Thank you :)

I am a grad student in the Architecture and I work as an estimator in the residential sector and I have always trusted in RSmeans as a good source for pricing. This book was a need and it has helped me within the past couple of months take my progress to another level and with the timely shipping it made it better.

This book is an excellent resource to help contractors put together a detailed bid that is fair to both the homeowner and themselves. I highly recommend it.

not what i was expecting it to be. anyone can do what they did. i wanted hard numbers, not just a bunch of blank lines that i enter the going rate in. i was under the assumption they had the going rate in the book. i guess when you assume......well you know the rest.

Excellent resource book. Must have for anyone in the industry. I use it as a general reference to make sure that my prices are competitive, yet within the ballpark of industry standards.
