I really like when my mother in-law grilled some salmon, by using the salmon rub. I was the best tasting salmon I have ever had!! So when I saw that there were other rubs I had to try them out. I still think the salmon rub is the best one out of the bunch, but the others are tasty too. The spices to me are a little on the spicy side (which I don't care for) with undertone of something smoked, but just enough to add flavor and not overpower the meat. I think if I were to buy again, I would only buy the salmon rub, but these are still worth a try.

I am a big fan of Tom Douglas (visting many of his Seattle restaurants & own a couple of his cookbooks). Generally, I give this out as a gift to friends and family that are looking for something that is unique Seattle gift. I always get a good response on the gift. For my own cooking, I really enjoy the flavors that these rubs add.
