This case is a cheap knock-off of the real thing. The photos show a strip across the front under the screen area, the one I received does not. As stated by others, it is very hard to take it off, which is good or bad depending on how you look at it. The case does not close well and has a gap between front and back. I was shipped another one, and it has the same issue. What do you want for the price, I guess you get what you pay for.

nice hard plastic with a light coat rubbery paint. very difficult to take off (that's a good thing) and doesn't come apart with dropped. my only complaint would be that the paint doesn't cover some of the interior edges... but otherwise a great product.

I bought this case along with an unlocked blackberry to fit. The case is great. I like the hard plastic ones because I tend to drop my phones often. It's got a nice finish to i, but the only problem I seem to have with it is the finish on it. It creates a kind of soft feel on it, and so when it's my pocket, I sometimes have difficulty getting it out of my pockets, not too bad. Overall, still 5 stars. Great product I think. It really stays on the phone well AND it arrived early! The phone took about a week longer to receive, so I was happy about that! Not a bad price either :)

I drop my phone as much as anyone else. The color has worn off the edges, it has a lot of scratches, but I've had it a year and half. I dropped it this morning and part of it broke. It is still usable but I'm ordering a new one.

Nothing special about this product, it did work. It ended up breaking later on, but I didn't pay much for it. Seems like it was my fault and not the design of the product.

1) As several others have mentioned, this item is NOT as seen in the picture, as there is not the bar across the middle area. However, I have not found this to be a problem in terms of structural integrity.

2) Others have mentioned the poor quality of the item, but I have dropped mine several times and while the front has separated from the back, it clicks back together nicely and the phone still works, so I guess it does the job. Of note on quality, the front and back pieces do not quite meet on both the top corners, so they do not click together. This doesn't seem to affect the function, however, as the rigidity of the plastic keeps the pieces from moving around too much.

3) The finish is matte black hard plastic with a rubbery texture, but is NOT rubber. This looks attractive and is holding up pretty well after about 3 months. The only area of wear is on the back on a small circular area that is raised above the level of the rest of the surface, so it seems to bear the brunt of the abuse.

SUMMARY: I give it 5 stars just because it's so cheap. All in all, not the greatest, but better than the cost would suggest.

We ordered this item when my husband first got his blackberry. Because of his job, his phone needs to be protected. Anyways, It took us nearly two months to get this in the mail. All in all whichever company this is through, I would not personally order through them.

It came quick and it was easy to install looks good. I would recommend it. and I have ;)

Not rubber, plastic coated with rubber, apparently sprayed black. Very thin plastic makes it flimsy and doesn't line up fully (without some effort) with other half of case. Phone buttons all accessible though. No screen protection. Some edges not fully colored black. Protects phone okay, just not what I expected. You get what you pay for here.
