These gaskets appeared to fit the snap top jars that we have used for years. However, the interior diameter of the rubber gasket is just a few sixteenths of an inch to large to fit these jars withour slipping off when the lid is opened. Perhaps over time and washing the gaskets will shrink.

Otherwise very please with the purchase.

Second, an excellent product! Storage in glass (particularly glass this quality) is great. The new sealing rubbers make the jars last forever.

I nicked the product only a star because of the price, especially when compounded by the shipping.

That said, I live in a land where the coming of Wal-Mart, which does not stock anything resembling this, wiped out all the little mom and pop hardware and general stores that did stock minutiae like this back when I bought the wide-mouth glass cannisters that only work with these gaskets. So I say, thank you, Amazon, for keeping them available, even at this price.

the ones I have are Red not orange but this fit perfectly 1 L Jars.

I found the jars at a garage sell, but they had no seals. These seals (as somebody else posted) are for the larger mouth jars. These seal the jar for liquid storage(haven't tried canning, hot bath yet). Didn't get five stars because of price.

We purchased these replacement rubber rings for some canning jars we use as canisters. The original rings were dried out, cracked, and falling apart. These arrived in a timely manner and seem to work fine. They are a little larger than the originals, so they don't fit snugly, but that is okay - we just want them to keep moisture out of the brown sugar...

Some of my old seals from five years ago were starting to split and break down. These made the jars as good as new.

The only complaint is that these seem to be a bit on the expensive side for what they are. Otherwise they work great.

I would recommend these if your old ones are breaking down.

Thia was my 2sd set of Rubber Gaskets for Glass Canning Jar & some other jar. That I could use, for dry bean & etc. to seal then in real good.You get these glass jar, with candles in that have glass top. Clean out good & these Rubber Gaskets are great forthe Jar.
I got mine in no time & they work great. Amazon to me is a great place to shop. When I can't fine what I want, I come to Amazon.com

rubber ring hard to find except on internet....since storing in glass is better than storing in plastic, I search thrift stores for the old timey glass topped hinged jars and then replace the rubber gasket to make it like new........

These gaskets seal the jars perfectly and appear as efficient as the originals.
I use the jars to store dry food stuff as well as preserves and the gaskets remain flexible and keep their shape after many open/close cycles.
In summary, this purchase is good quality at a fairly low price.
