Rubbermaid 1182-P4CLR Clear Dish Drain Tray

The Rubbermaid Clear Large Sink Drainer has one major flaw. It's turned the wrong way. Most sink drainers are turned vertically. With this drainer the side that doesn't have lip, allowing the water to drain properly ends up being on the side facing out. Since the drainer is made horizontally, the dish rack doesn't fit. I rated it two stars instead of one because it's a Rubbermaid product, and Rubbermaid products are generally well made.

bought this as it was classified as large. Well it is wide enough but not long enough. My smallish chrome dish drainer just verily fits on it and I have to have a towel for the extra stuff that won't fit on the drainer or rack. It didn't give a size other than large and I presumed that large meant larger than the normal rack, when it was actually smaller than the other one I had.

I thought that since it was pictured with the folding stainless dish rack that they would both fit together nicely. That is not the case. The dish rack barely fits on the drain board. Also I did not take notice that the drain board drains from the large end side not the short end side so I am not happy about that. I called the distributor to see if any are made with the short end side for draining and was told they do not. It is nice to have it in clear though.
