Excellent container. I have been using them for years. I prefer this size to the larger size. Not airtight, but stackable to four high. But this product cost $12 at Walmart (when available).

I have this same case in the Beige color for about 4 years. I use it as a pond pump filter housing in my Koi Pond. I bought the original from Lowe's, but they did not have the Blue (which looks better at the bottom of the pond). I was happy to be able to order it on Amazon. This thing is extremely durable, and of the highest quality.

Our cat pees over the edge of shorter boxes and it's difficult for him to go into a hooded box, they're never tall enough. This is taller than most and it's very durable. I haven't cut an opening in it yet, and may not. I set it next to the toilet and he can jump on the toilet seat and then down into the litter box. As soon as I put it out for him, he went in it immediately and seems to like the size. Luckily it fits just perfectly between the toilet and vanity. The insides are fairly smooth, so it shouldn't be that hard to keep clean inside. It would have been nice to have a white one, but I ended up with a burgundy color. Found it at Kmart for about $11.
