This particular cooler advertises both on the amazon site and on the packaging that "Extra thick insulation keeps ice for 5 days at 90." Completely and utterly false. I purchased this large cooler just before Thanksgiving to keep apple cider and sodas cold during a large family get-together. Chilled gallons of cider and many cans of soda as well as 40 pounds of ice were added on a Wednesday afternoon. The cooler was kept in a 70 degree house the entire time and even after adding more ice, by Friday morning every cube of ice was melted leaving tepid water. My older Coleman cooler, which also had sodas in it, was a trooper and still had ice cubes floating in the icy water. I returned the cooler a few days later as it was a useless waste of money for a product that did not live up to it's claims.

cooler is excellent product however, due to a computer glich i ended up with 2 coolers. i emailed sim supply and as of this review a month has gone by and no response. now i am stuck with a second cooler costing $82 with shipping. so beware of sim supply, the return policy sucks.
