I did a lot of looking around before I chose this storage unit. I wanted something sturdy and weatherproof that I could lock up and put out across the parking lot of the townhouse apartments that I live in. Not enough room on the patio for storage. This went together well, after I read the instructions and is holding up great so far. I drilled 2 small holes to run a u shaped hook through the back and caulked it so I could chain it to a fence back there. So far it is doing well with some very heavy rain, high winds and hot sun. It doesn't come with the shelves anymore, but I bought a plain wire shelf from rubbermaid's closet series that fits in there fine. I have lawn chairs and a trimmer and some garden stuff on the bottom and then storage for other small things on top. This was a good value if you shop around for the best price and is made so much better than the cheaper brands that it is well worth it.

I'm a gardener and wanted a nice shed I could put all my gardening tools in for easy access. I'm a 70 year old widow and did the entire assembly myself in around 30 minutes. Having read other reviews about vinyl sheds I made sure to have a base already prepared for my shed. I fashioned the base of some 12" x 12" pavers that I made sure were good and level. Up my shed went on top of them and against the back of my house, where it's been since early last summer. It's very sturdy and has weathered a number of thunder storms, and a full winter now, and perfectly water tight.

I purchased a small set of shelves from Walmart that takes up about a third of the floor space and halfway up for smaller items. (Sort of like a mini bookshelf.) I also purchased a wire shelf, that is a combination shelf and tool holder, that I installed across the top. The shed works beautifully for me and keeps my gardening stuff dry, secure, organized and all within easy reach when I need them.

This shed has worked perfectly for my needs and I would highly recommend it.

I am a 68-year-old woman with almost no mechanical experience or expertise and I was able to get this shed together by myself in less than 30 minutes (a little more than the 15 minutes the box said it would take, but still a respectable time).

The box states that no tools are needed and the instruction sheet specifies that a rubber hammer is needed. I had a rubber hammer; it was helpful but I probably could have gotten the shed together without it. You need a flat surface at least eight feet long and five feet wide, and a wall or other solid surface to push against.

The assembled cabinet is sturdy and very nice looking. I reccomend it.

The box of this unit shows shelves -- 5 of them -- with the word "convenient". There's also a teeny tiny asterisk.

Fortunately I was purchasing at a brick and mortar store. Turns out shelves are even listed as sold by Rubbermaid. The website however does include a template for cutting shelves yourself out of a 1x10 board. Unfortunately that makes for 9.2 inch wide shelf in a cabinet that is nearly twice as deep. To make a wider shelf would require tricky woodwork and the front of the shelf would be unsupported.

So unless you plan to store rakes or other tall items in front of your narrow shelves, this is not the storage cabinet for you.

Would have been better if it had come with the shelves but otherwise a good product.

This arrived without the roof and I was very upset. I emailed Amazon and they answered almost immediately and told me to contact Rubbermaid. It only took 24 hours for Rubbermaid to respond and I received the replacement roof in 5 days. Terrific customer service from both companies!!
The shed is terrific and the price is right! Took very little time to put together. It holds much more than I expected.

Very easy to assemble but would be better if it had come with the shelves or at least offered shelves to purchase, but otherwise a good product.

This little storage building is exactly what I expected. It is constructed from good materials. Easy to assemble. I would recomend this product to anyone. The shipping was prompt.

This would be 5 stars except it needs to iclude at least a couple of shelves. Lots of holes and notches inside, I guess if your handy, it's a no brainer, but for 150 bucks (Home Depot or Lowes November 09), a shelf or two would be nice. Since the top is curved, you cant really trust anything up on top of it, prefer a flat roof for that reason. Assembled in 10 minutes. I found the directions after assembling it as well, so... Use it near pool area to keep towels and toys. These ALL come highly recommended by people who have them, myself included.

After much research all across the web I finally selected this storage shed for my garden tools. A lot of the negative feedback I read dealt with sturdiness and being hard to assemble. Now I'll be the first to admit I am a handyman but either these people have never assembled anything in their life or had it done for them because not only did I put it together super fast (like in 60 seconds) I also put it together while holding a beer in one hand. Now as far as the sturdiness goes, it is made of quality plastic material and is formed so as the individual pieces are rigid in themselves. I don't know what these people expected but no, its not made of metal, its plastic! I rate this product a plus 5. So there, take that from someone who gets his moneys worth.
