I bought this, but it sat in a box for over 4 months because I was scared of the setup. A friend finally forced me into just doing it, and it took less than an hour for the whole deal. It was so quick that I can't believe I let it sit in a box.
A level (the tube with the bubble) proved very useful. Anyway, it's sturdy, set up so easily, and I love the bars that let you slide hangers all the way across. It's also nice looking. If you don't need a formal look, you could isntall this directly on an exposed wall for a sort-of utilitarian look. That's actually what I did, and as long as the clothing is neatly hung, it actually looks great. No complaints whatsoever.

I have personally installed three of these on my own. It is great for that reason. Also, you can get extra shelves (shoe shelves, for instance) to configure it your own way. For a reorganization project, making your closet more useful and user friendly is tops. This set is perfect for that, and doesn't break your wallet to do so.

Please be forewarned, that if you have any thought of possibly using some of the accessories for this system, you MUST set your uprights at the prescribed 22 inches apart.
Also, please note that if your space is not 6 feet wide, and you go with 22 inches between the uprights, you'll end up with a section that could be very, very, narrow and unusable for shelving. I installed this into a closet to replace a ClosetMaid single shelf closet system. The space was about 5 feet wide. I do not have any intention of using the accessories that require the 22 inch width (basket, shoe rack, pants rack, etc). My first lay out following the directions clearly. I ended up with a space that was about 6 inches wide. So, I reconfigured the uprights and have about 15.5 inches between them. Works well, and doesn't look silly. The directions are clear. The materials are solid. The anchors they supply are not what you're used to; a cross between a traditional plastic anchor and a molly. They seem to work fine.
