I bought this dish drainer based on the picture, thinking it was the older version, heavy, rubber, non-antimicrobial drainer. It is not. It IS the new, light, plastic, antimicrobial model which I did NOT want. However, today a salesperson from Ace Hardware told me only the light weight, plastics drainers are available from now on. Sigh.

I have the same comments as the two other reviewers on record as of today 3/30/09, Art Lemmens and K Semerad. It is not as pictured. I need one to sit longwise. This one occupies the full depth of counter and interferes with window and curtain. The hole that things fall through, that the other reviewer mentioned, is another bone, but for me more easily dealt with. I would give quality, and antimicrobial feature 5 stars. I've been using it a long time. I have shopped vigerously for the style (longwise) and agree with the other reviewer, it's no longer available. It is still far superior to the designer, wood, stainless and novelty racks out there that very clumsy to work with. So, we make due with what is now on the market.

Overall OK. Large hole at one end seems to attract items to fall out of rack. Previous design had better silverware holder of more square design. Construction quality seems good. Time will tell.
