This is your standard 2 qt pitcher. I ordered it to keep milk in because the blue plastic keeps out light. It has been exactly what I need since milk is only sold in little 1 litre bottles or bags.

I purchased this to keep my powdered milk (water+powdered milk) in. I like it because it doesn't take up much room in the fridge. I also like the way the top snugly fits the pitcher. These Rubbermaid pitchers of this style are getting harder to find. Good ole' Amazon came through for me again on this! Also, I love the periwinkle blue color. So pretty. I would definately recommend this retro-style pitcher that does the job!

Maybe I was misinformed... but I swear this item was supposed to come with a lid. Mine did not come with a lid, had I know this I would not have bought it.

This pitcher smelled heavily of plastic upon arrival and after washing it. So I filled it with water and added lemon juice to and let it soak for 24 hours. It has been great since then, no plastic smell (or taste). The lid is secure, it does NOT fall out when pouring. I am very happy with this pitcher.

The pitcher itself is fine, but the top is a terrible fit. Does not seal no matter that it is twisted away from the pour slots. Would look for better combination of pitcher and top if purchasing another

Just read the other reviews again and realized I may have needed to push down the top, which secures it snugly. Fits very nice indeed. Revising to 5 stars

Good item but would have preferred to have it lighter in color so could see easily amount of liquid inside. Too bad Rubbermaid decided to move so much production out of the country. Another betrayal by a major brand name in the USA.

Good sturdy well made pitcher. I like the blue as it doesn't show stains as easily. The top seals fairly well.

I don't know if this is a plastic with alcohol thing but I originally bought this pitcher to make sangria in but for some reason the sangria tastes funky when stored in this. I've also noticed that it may absorb a bit of smell when using stuff with strong scents. If you're not making sangria this is a good pitcher for the price.

This pitcher works well. I was a little disappointed in how small it was, but it still works for what I use it for. I usually make iced coffee, and this pitcher fits a full pot of coffee perfectly.
