I use these when I'm preparing meals days in advance. I can chop the veggies, measure the ingredients, or whatever and store them in these until I'm ready to make the meal. It saves a lot of time on those nights when I have no energy or ambition.

These are also great to take to work because I can take anything, take the lid off and put the dish in the microwave.

These containers are just the right size for soooo many things. Of course, they work perfectly for small amounts of leftovers in the kitchen, but we also use them around the house as well. They are great for small parts, hardware, etc in the garage....and I love having them handy in my craft room for projects.

OK, it just does its job, but seriously, I like the Rubbermaid brand and it has always worked well for me. Plus it was just enough to get me free shipping!!

The lid doesn't create a good enough seal with the container, so it can slip off really easily. It's fine if you're just going to stick it in the fridge, but don't pack your lunch in it.

It's quite useful for small amount of food. But be careful not to microwave the container for too long, the lid gets very soft and seems it is going to melt.

It seems that the stores are not carrying either Ziploc or Glad 1-cup reusable containers any more. With only two people in our family, I was dependant on that size for storing left-overs and for packaging large containers into usable portions. I purchased 8 of these and found them to be adequate replacements, but not any better than the disposibles. The lids are flimsy and I believe would warp/melt if put into the dishwasher. The seal is not air-tight and would probably leak if turned over and allowed to sit for hours. Nevertheless, these provide a workable alternative to what is no longer available.

This is just the right size for snacks, carrots or grapes or crackers for the kids.

This is a perfect small rubbermaid container. We use it to transport applesauce, milk, raisins, etc. No spills. And for the price, you can't beat it. It hasn't stained so far and it cleans up easily.
