When installed according to directions the cabinet doors do not close. The depth needed for the rack to pull down is greater than the cabinet. This by description is exactly what I wanted and am disappointed that it does not work

I purchased 2 of these, and they work perfectly. I can now put my spices in the upper cabinets, and easily see what I have. I put them on 2 different shelves--one on top of the other since my cabinet was a tad bit too narrow to put them side by side. I have standard cupboards, and they are plenty deep enough to both install and close the cabinet doors.
