I collect cooking magazines and these are perfect to hold them. They fit in bookshelves and are easy to handle.

4.0 out of 5 stars Jumbo Magazine File, November 9, 2006
The files work very well for storing many little books and have a place on the front for labeling the level. The front does bend a little, but I have not had any break and I use about 15 of them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rubbermaid Jumbo Techfile for magazines, June 14, 2011
This review is from: Rubbermaid Jumbo Techfile Plastic Magazine File, 6.25 x 9.625 x 11.75 Inches, Black (40606ROS) (Office Product)
I really like the Rubbermaid plastic magazine file rather than cardboard files that breakdown and fall apart. These Rubbermaid files are durable and reuseable. I currently (from November, 2010 to June, 2011) cannot seem to find them and am afraid that they have been discontinued. If so, I would truly like to see them come back - PLEASE.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does its job, May 25, 2010

Great as a magazine rack or heavy books. Keeps your shelves organized. My only problem and concern is that if you're not careful, your magazine cover or pages can get caught and rip. If you're careful placing it, then no problems. Well worth the price.

The solid front is quite high and obscures titles, the best one I have has that panel on top and the front is open making it easier to slide out the books, magazines or whatever you keep in it. The top "shelf" is then handy to put your coffee on or family pics, little nick-nacks or even keep your book marks up there; I much prefer them that way.
