5.0 out of 5 stars Rubber Neckers
Don't think Rubber Neckers is just for kids during family vacations. I own a business and a job required us to send four employees to a customer's site, 3 hours away. I left Rubber Neckers on the dashboard. I can't tell you the laughs and fun my employees had on this trip. It built comradery amongst them and they arrived at the job site eager to work efficiently so...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but a little too complicated for the car
My kids started using this one after they finished the Rubberneckers Jr game. While still fun to look for the items on the cards, they wouldn't use all the rules of the games because it was too complicated. They eventually went back to Rubberneckers Jr.

We found the game to be alot of fun. One caution however -- it does not scale down to the lower age children. I recommend for kids from 10 to 99!

This is a great game to have for car trips (especially the long ones)! Plus, I've found that my kids (ages 4 & 6) are even learning new items... things they didn't know before, now they do. To make it simpler though, we just made it team game, instead of indiviually. And we don't keep score (so there are no hard feelings). We just have a great time finding things together!

For family fun in the car... buy this game! It's great!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great travel entertainment, June 28, 2005

I purchased this game in hopes of making a 4 hour car trip with 3 kids fun. It worked!!!!! It made the time go by much, much faster, while playing this I never heard "ARE WE THERE YET ?" We had 2 adults, and three kids, ages 15, 9 and 7 playing and we all had a good time. I highly recommend this game for traveling with children.

This is a great game. It makes travelling with the kids in the car bearable (even fun). Make sure you get it if you are planning a road trip. I would make a couple of suggestions. A modified version of the rules for younger players (with older siblings) in which everyone searches for the same items on a card as a race. Younger kids will have trouble with the regular rules and handling the cards. This way only a grown-up needs to manage the cards and keep score.

Great game to pass the time while in the car. It not only keeps the kid(s) entertained....it works on us old and boring adults too. Bought this ...for a 14 hour trip and we had so much fun. Just made that same trip again over Easter week and had another great time with the game.

This game is sooo much fun. It makes a long trip much more manageable and is fun for the whole family. My kids are too young to keep score, so we usually set a goal of how many points we'd like to achieve and work as a team to get that amount before reaching our destination. Just a caution, this game is not great fun for those who easily get carsick.

Rubberneckers is a great game to keep in the car for longer rides. The cards tell you to look for various things - types of signs, license plates, cars, businesses and restaurants, etc.. Wave at someone in another car and see if they wave back at you, see if you spot a police car that has pulled someone over. You score points based on what you find. Our nine- and eleven-year olds love it!

My son (9 years) and I (don't ask) just got back from a road trip. Twenty-six hours of driving over ten days. We played this game until the last eight hours - then we switched to a book on tape (we were real tired by then). Anyway, it kept us entertained for the first 18 hours. Although the driver is not supposed to play (because some of the challenges require you to interact with other drivers), I could still join in the fun (by waiting until we were at a stop light, etc...). Most of the challenges were finding things such as a dog in the car, a person on a bike, a college decal, and even someone picking their nose. Combine this with the Ultimate Sticker Puzzles: License Plates Across the States: Travel Puzzles and Games! (Ultimate Sticker Puzzles) and you're good to go!
