I purchased the hats for my head start program. The central office staff visited the classrooms during Dr Seuss's day to read some of his books---it was the best!! The hat fit into the entire concept.

This is an excellent quality product at an incredible price. The only flaw with the hat is that it's a little taller and skinnier than I would have expected, however it still works perfectly for my purpose. I'm using it as decor at my Dr. Seuss party and for the Mother to Be To wear in Pictures. There are some hats that are fuller and a little shorter, but they're much more expensive. This one will work perfectly for me.

I wore this out trick-or-treating with my kids this past Halloween and it worked very well. As others have noted, you'll need to stuff it with something to get it to stand up, but other than that, it works well. It was a rather breezy night and it stayed on my head. It was comfortable and didn't make my head sweat. My head is somewhat larger than average and it fit me perfectly. It probably wouldn't stand up to long-term repeated use or rough handling, but how many people are going to wear it on a long-term basis? Makes a nice accessory if you don't want to buy the full costume.
