I ordered this for a costume for myself and then gave it to my 5 year old to play with after. The glasses look great, but the wand is a little cheesy and some of the paint rubs of really easy. It worked well for my costume though, and my son loves playing with it, but he's bent the glasses all out of shape and scratched the lenses quite a bit. This is definitely not something for little kids to play with, but it is great for a costume.

The glasses look just like harry potters. the wand leaves something to be desired, but it went well with the other items i purchased seperately.

My 9 year old was not pleased with this toy, the wand is too wide and looks nothing like the real thing. For a younger kid (7 and under) it might be OK, and it will also be safe, but for older kids, try the more authentic looking wands. The glasses are OK for any age.

I really only bought this set to use as a cake topper which mostly worked out well. The glasses have nothing to hold them up so they practically slide right off my daughter's face. The wand seems pretty sturdy though.

I bought the harry potter wands for my 2 nephews.. they love harry potter they were very excited. amazon helps people get things for cheaper than what the offical harry potter sight does. and it delievers the same happiness.

Got these for Halloween props for my son (11). The glasses lasted two minutes out of the packaging-my son made the fatal mistake of opening them up to put them on. The wand was plastic and cheap as expected for the price. We already had a wand and just needed the glasses so my son was very bummed.

I purchased this as part of my 7 year old's Halloween costume. He loves it and the set still gets use during play time.

Glasses were bent and big on an 8 year old. My son didn't seem to mind. He enjoys playing with the wand and glasses. The wand is plastic, the glasses are not very durable.

My 3 yo is going to be Harry Potter for Halloween this year. We got the accessory kit withthe glasses and the wand, and he loves playing with them. I had to adjust the glasses quite a bit so they would stay on his face, but that was too be expected given his age. They are easily adjustable, although I fear that too much adjustment will make them break. The wand is a great toy and appears to be very sturdy and hardy. Great product at a great price!
