Item arrived quickly and was as described. It made for a great xmas gift to a friday the 13th lover!

I mean when i was getting it i wasnt really sure what kind of material to expect but other then the fact that i got it in the mail and it was cracked because it was plastic it was pretty cool just to have. It wasnt for me specifically but the person i gave it to loved it even though it wasnt in perfect condition so i mean, be warned to let your supplier know that you want them to write DO NOT BEND!!! on your package for sure cause my did end up at my house a little rough.

Not a bad replica for the money, however it is very fragile. Overall I love it, anything to do with Friday the 13th is great.

My best friend absolutely loves the Friday the 13th movie series. I was thinking of buying him this but I did not. I had another GREAT idea. I found a decent movie still from the first film. From it my stepfather (who has more experience in woodworking and such) and I got some wood, paint, bolts, etc. and we made a Crystal Lake sign. I know there are freaks out there that scrutinize things for screen accuracy, accurate dimensions, accurate weathering, colors......GET A LIFE.
The sign is big just under two feet. It's not quite as weathered and the lettering, scene, and all isn't spot on.
HOWEVER, everyone that has seen it instantly knows what it is. We made it for my friend who nearly had a seizure from seeing it. He's even emailed two of the actors from the film, one who quoted as saying it was "BADA**".
My advice, if you can't find anything that looks good or is very cheap, find a way to make it yourself. Sure it may cost more but making something yourself shows more than simply buying a mass produced cheap item like this one.
