Product Description

Your child's Halloween will go swimmingly when she's wearing this newborn mermaid costume! This adorable baby bunting is made of 100% polyester but feels like soft fleece. The top of the bunting is light pink and has jagged short sleeves. The bottom half of the bunting is green with black "scale" accents. There is an attached green fin at the end of the bunting! The costume velcros at the back of the neck as well as at the bottom for easy diaper change. Also included is a light pink shell headband. The headband has elastic and velcro for a comfy fit. I bought this for my 3 month old baby. It was really adorable when she had it on, but after 15 to 20 minutes, she absolutely hated it. Plus, the top part of the costume didn't fit very well and looked kinda droopy. You can see what I mean in the product picture.

The description may read "1 to 9 months", but this was HUGE on my 3-month old. There wasn't really even a way to tuck it in around her in the stroller to make it look normal. And then the head piece was too small. The quality of the costume was great ~ but unless you have a large baby or your baby is in the 6-9 month range, I wouldn't get this one. My recommendation ~ buy with enough time to try it on and return it if it doesn't fit.

Thank God we didn't spend a lot on this thing; it looked like a kid made it. No baby is equally wide as they are long, are they? The head strap wouldn't stand up no matter what we did, the material can't be legal in the US, and it was, without a doubt, the most illfitting piece of clothing we've ever purchased. DON'T DO IT!
