These glasses were not useable because the nose piece is over an inch long between the two metal circles for the lenses. It is so far appart it wouldn't fit any nose--other than a HUGE and wide one. We were very dissappointed in this factor after purchasing it. Do not waste your money.

I agree with evryone else, the design is very poor, however, the grandson loved them and would not take them off. That can be bad as well, since they are not good on the eyes. We had to make rules, like "No wearing them at school". Harry Potter is addicting, it is a fabulous world,kudos to the creator, but some of the products that enable these kids to feel a part of it are shoddy and poorly constructed, then packaged for a quick buck. Needless to say, I am not impressed with whomever handles these promotional items. It can't be THAT hard to mass produce something altered slightly enough to make it fit a child better.Then again, I suppose, if they fit better, we'd NEVER get them to take them off!

I didn't buy these to be a wizard, I was Peter Griffin for Halloween, yes I am a fully grown man. There is no nose peace and the bridge on the glasses is quite long. However they fit me just fine; the ear pieces keep the glasses close to my face which forces the bridge to sit on my my nose. I will be Peter Griffin this Oct. 31 and every Oct. 31 till the day I die, for $6 I'm not complaining. Also I was expecting just frames without lenses, there are see through lenses which seem to be fairly scratch resistant (I was taking them on and off putting on safety glasses all day long).

I bought these glasses for a costume and, like a lot of other reviewers, I was disappointed that the bridge between the lenses was over an inch long. Luckily, they are easy to fix! I found out that I could gently bend my pair by holding on to the sides of the frame, which created a better curve in the bridge. Now they fit perfectly! I hope this helps some of you.

I received these to complete my son's Harry Potter costume for this upcoming Halloween. They were not expensive, but with the word "Deluxe" in the name, I did figure they would be a bit better quality. The wire is very lightweight, and could get bent of shape easily, and the nose bridge is quite wide. They will work for our purposes...just one Halloween wear. But they definately aren't durable. Good thing this is for a 10 year old and not a smaller child.

The Harry Potter glasses are as described and fine, but it took 10 days for "expedited" shipping at extra cost.

I'm really glad I ordered them 2 weeks before I needed them, because they almost didn't arrive in time!! I guess that's what you get with free shipping, though. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product. They're definitely more fitting for adult wear because of the size (like with the nose bridge and all that) but they're perfect to complete any HP costume!! The lenses in the glasses seem to distort my vision a little so I'm kinda worried it will cause nausea but overall I'm not worried about it. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase!!

I bought this to go with my daughter's halloween costume...an owl. It says these are for kids but they still seem a little large, although she is only 3. For the Harry Potter fan, they would make an excellent addition to the wardrobe of a child magician.

Overall, it seems to be a good product at a good price. The transaction was painless and shipping was very fast. Would recommend retailer for future purchases.

My son received these glasses for christmas along with the Harry Potter light up wand. They have been a HUGE success. The nose peice is rather wide for his face, but he does not mind it. The glasses are adjustable so you can get a better fit around the ears. He wears them everyday all day long. I would definitely recommend them!

The glasses are cute and my son loves Harry Potter so he gets a kick out of wearing them. The glasses did not cost a lot but I did expect them to be a little bit sturdier.
