Nice material, but the colors are way off for being a Gryffindor item.Appears to be faded.

The tie is off color. It is too purple. Also the stitching is already coming out. However the price was what I could afford. I got it quick and it was obvious when I put it on with the rest of my outfit that It was a hogworts tie.

This tie is good for a child under the age of 13. If your an adult, buy a regular size tie as this one is designed more for children. Good quality!, well made.

This is a really good tie but it doesn't really go with the third movie that much.

When I got this tie from BlackSheepDeals a couple weeks ago, it was only $5.95 ($12 with shipping); I guess it was raised because of popularity? Anyway, this tie is quite purple, as other reviews mentioned, but it has a maroon-y tone to it as well. I looked at one of the more expensive ties at a local Halloween store ($30), and it was purple-y too. I think that really is the color of the Gryffindor ties.

My only problem with the tie, really, is that it's too short for adults. I'm 5'5" and it only came to about mid-stomach when tied. This is okay for me since I'm wearing it under a v-neck gray sweater (similar to the ones worn by characters in the movie), so it won't show, but definitely not long enough for adults, as said in the description.

But I thought it was pretty good quality. It's a silky material that seems pretty nice. I recommend it for kids, or if, like me, you're going to wear the tie under a sweater, so the length doesn't show).

This product was better than I expected. The quality and color were great.

As previously stated, the colors are not quite right. Also, my son wore it for only fifteen minuets when we noticed the stitching comming apart down the back seam. He should have at least gotten a whole Halloween's worth out of it.

This Harry Potter tie was better material than I thought it would be. Very nice and my son could probably even wear it to church it's that nice. Thanks again!

A great Gryffindor tie for a Halloween costume. Excellent condition and delivery time. Affordable and good quality.

It's a pretty nice tie, and the pattern is right, but I was definitely not expecting it to be purple - it's really not quite right, and we were a bit disappointed.
