I was looking forward to this wig but was disappointed to find that the actual wig is quite short. So instead of having the long length like Johnny Depp's in the movie it is more like a woman's short bob hair cut.
This suggests that the picture of the model who wears the wig in the promotional photo also has long hair and has the wig over his real hair - which is why it appears longer in the photo. It is very frustrating (and I find a common occurance) when costume companíes promotional material of their product never matches up to the photos they use.
