Great Product. I really liked it. It was perfect with the rest of my costume. It did not look cheesy. It was perfect.

It was exactly like it was in the description. (It is a felt top hat) Pretty sturdy hat. Fit my head great.

I don't know what the previous reviewer was smoking or how big his head is, but this is a great tophat that easily fits an adult female and/or a full-grown teen with a normal-size head. I would imagine that anyone with an oversize head such as that reviewer must have, would know they would require custom sizing and not order a 1-size-fits-all hat like this or any other 1-size hat anyway.

After that other review I was half-afraid I'd receive a flimsy, cheap too-small hat, but the price was right enough to take a chance. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a sturdy, well-made, nice-looking tophat that arrived in perfect shape. The product description is accurate; the service from Costume Supercenter is excellent; and you cannot beat the price for a top hat of this quality. I would definitely order another of this hat if I ever needed a second one, and I would not hesitate to order from this merchant again.

This top hat's photo makes it look like the crown is at least 7 inches but I measured it when I got it and it was only about 3 and 3/4 inches long. Also, when I got this the back of the brim was damaged too. I will say though, the top hat did come to my home in good time but still, that is not enough to make me want to buy from this company any longer unless I get a sincere apology letter.

Good material, good look, ect. Except like other reviewers, I've had the trouble of getting it on anyone. It says an adult top hat, I'm a 17 yr. old male, didn't fit me at all. Nor did it fit either of my brothers, my dad, even my mother. What kind of adults are we talking about here? Only one in my family I got it to fit was my 12 yr. old sister. I think if it's going to be advertised as an adult top hat, it should fit some adults.

This is a costume-quality top hat with a velvety coating. It's a short top hat, not a stovepipe hat so if that's what you want, you'll need to search for that style. This worked just fine for my purposes, as part of a costume for Burning Man, and that says a lot. It held up in 100-plus daytime temps, roaring alkaline dust storms, and still cleaned up quickly and easily with a little soap and water when I got home. It essentially looks good as new and it'll probably spend another summer at Burning Man in the dusty playa. Not bad for an inexpensive little hat.

Be warned, though...I tend to have a smaller head and it fits me just fine (I'm a female) so if you have an unusually large head or if you're a larger guy, this might be snug.

I ordered this hat for my son for Halloween. It came before it was supposed to, and fit him perfectly (he's almost 17 and 6'1"). He loves it so much, he is wearing it for Hat Day at school this coming week. My husband laughs at him, because he'll wear it around the house. It was definitely worth the price I paid.

The hat is well made and not flimsy.
This is for a small head it appears to be a 6 1/2" hat size.
I wear a 7 1/2 men hat and all I can do is perch it on the top of my head.

This Top hat looks very nice and it is made of real felt, but the problem is it says its adult
it doesn't even fit any one in my family except my 9 year old brother. so I wouldn't rec emend this to any adult,
so if you're trying to get a good top hat for a costume or something this isn't the one.

This top hat is of nice quality (for a costume piece), but was small on my head. It more perched on the top of my head rather then sit properly. Adult is a little misleading.
